A birthday of sorts...

Today marks the one year anniversary of this blog!
When I started blogging I had no idea of what would happen, where I would be with it in a years time, or what it would mean to me.
I started it as a form of expression, an outlet to share my creativity and also a way to share my recipes with family and friends. It was also a great outlet to vent, share and talk about my health troubles.
Over time I think this blog has grown, I now have distinctive writing styles and I no longer hold back anything! With the degeneration of some of my health I have learnt to change how I write, as sometimes my thought processors are jumbled and this comes out for all to see. So I take my time and re-read EVERYTHING!!!

It has in a way been such a driving force in my life in the past couple of months, I know that is odd to say... but it has been.
While not being able to write/ type and read (after the recent drop in my health ) I was desperately waiting for the time that I could jump on here to update my medical journey and share my slowly growing ability to get back in the kitchen!!
It was driving me mad firstly not to be able to do anything in the kitchen, but then to not write as well was a massive blow for me.
So it was really nice to finally get on here and write.

I have been lucky enough to have gathered some followers, publicly and privately.
Last fortnight I hit 2000 pageveiws, that was nice!!!
I have also been fortuitous enough to be picked up by an online Australian recipe search engine- Every Recipe.

I would like to thank everyone who has supported me in my writing, and also all of the anonymous people that look at what I post!
